A company-document assistant should begin with an approved question, not a broad promise to understand the business.

The pilot record needs a named owner, authorized users, a low-consequence task, a documented baseline, an approved product and account, an allowed data class, a bounded source set, source owners and versions, a representative test set, citation-inspection rules, an accountable reviewer, unacceptable failures, retention and deletion behavior, incident handling, and an exit decision.

The test set should include known answers, absent answers, conflicting documents, superseded versions, exceptions, tables, scans, ambiguous terms, and requests that should be declined.
