E009 Critical Reading and Correction Boundary

The preserved transcript establishes Dalton Anderson's reaction to The 48 Laws of Power, the laws he remembered, and the personal situations he used to test them. It does not independently verify the book's historical anecdotes, a prison-ban ranking, or a universal employment outcome.

The Penguin Random House record identifies Robert Greene as author and lists current hardcover, paperback, and ebook formats. The publisher describes the book as amoral, cunning, ruthless, and instructive. That is promotional framing from the publisher, not an ethical endorsement or independent assessment of the book's historical method.

The transcript calls the book the second most banned book in the United States prison system and attributes a reason to the federal prison system. The located Bureau of Prisons 2019 FOIA log shows a request for records about restrictions. It does not prove a national ban, ranking, or government-wide rationale.

The transcript also states that telling a boss about another opportunity will result in firing. That is rhetoric from a personal example, not an employment rule. The NLRB's concerted-activity guidance and Cornell's at-will employment reference show why coverage, protected activity, contract, policy, jurisdiction, and facts matter.

The public story should preserve Dalton's discomfort and the distinction between awareness and endorsement. It should not reproduce a law-by-law derivative or treat remembered anecdotes as verified scholarship.
