Macmillan identifies Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin. The publisher presents the work as a series of combat and business examples organized around leadership principles. The source can establish the book record and the publisher's description, not independent proof that the framework improves every team.

https://us.macmillan.com/author/leifbabin

The authors' publisher biographies place Task Unit Bruiser and Babin's combat service in Iraq, including the Battle of Ramadi. The transcript's reference to Afghanistan is incorrect and must not appear in public copy.

The episode records Dalton's reading in August 2025. His recommendation, work examples, audiobook response, and interpretations belong to him. The authors' stories and named principles belong to the book.

Copyright boundary

The public review must not reconstruct the book chapter by chapter or reproduce the authors' stories at substitute length. It should paraphrase principles, attribute them, use only short quotations when necessary, and send interested readers to the book.

The six operating guides are Venture Step adaptations. They should identify the book as inspiration, bring independent evidence to workplace claims, and state where Venture Step narrows or modifies a principle.

The current redirect destination and publication date must be checked before release. No live route should be changed during drafting.

Release boundary

No draft may imply endorsement by Willink, Babin, Macmillan, the United States Navy, or the United States Army. No draft may claim that a military command method transfers directly to a civilian workplace.

Publication, redirects, deployment, indexing, distribution, and changes to Footprint remain unauthorized.
