E118 records an early Footprint prototype that accepted episode metadata and a transcript. Dalton demonstrated candidate show notes, platform descriptions, takeaway extraction, social posts, a thread, carousel material, clip captions, thumbnails, and article generation.

He described the transcript as the finite grounding source and the takeaways as a floor for downstream content. He also described the output as a first pass for human editing and called the product a work in progress.

The demo visibly produced Markdown where the prompt apparently prohibited it. That defect supports a crucial boundary: a source-grounded generation system still needs output validation and human review.

Google's people-first content guidance recommends original value, clear authorship, useful outcomes, and transparency about automation. It explicitly warns against content made primarily to attract search traffic or large-scale automation that adds little value.

The current Venture Step workflow should preserve the raw transcript separately, build a source ledger, choose distinct reader jobs, research current claims, draft pages from scratch, validate each artifact, and retain publication authority with a human.
