Founder Local Resource Network Record
Operating definition
A founder's local resource network is the set of dependable pathways that help the company complete important work and help the founder sustain that work. It is not a contact count or social-status display.
Resource classes
The map covers market access, company building, capital, operations, daily life, and travel. Depending on the company, this may include customers, industry institutions, domain experts, talent communities, vendors, regulators, lawyers, accountants, investors, accelerators, workspaces, health care, care support, community, transit, and airports.
Every resource should have a purpose, access path, expected cadence, response or travel latency, direct cost, reciprocity expectation, privacy level, owner, and fallback. A name without an access path is not an operating resource.
Proximity and dependence
Proximity matters only when it changes the quality, speed, frequency, or cost of access. A remote relationship may be more dependable than a nearby acquaintance. A recurring institution may matter more than one high-status introduction.
The map should expose concentration risk. If the company depends on one person, one venue, one program, one neighborhood, or one transit route, record an alternative.
Normal-month test
The proposed network should be tested against an ordinary month. Ask whether the founder can reach the required people and places at the necessary cadence while still doing focused work, meeting household obligations, and recovering.
Private contact records remain private. Public content can describe resource classes, institutions supported by current sources, and the method. It should not disclose personal contact details, private conversations, or inferred affiliations.
Source boundary
The SBA guide establishes that location affects regulation, cost, market access, and partners. Census Business Dynamics Statistics can describe geographic and industry patterns. NBER research supplies historical ecosystem context. None establishes the quality of a founder's actual relationships or the reliability of a specific local pathway.
