The updated launch page says purchase availability began October 15, 2024.
Current first-party state
Meta's comparison page reviewed July 28, 2026 listed Quest 3S in 128GB and 256GB configurations at current U.S. prices that differed from the launch starting price.
The page listed Fresnel optics, 1832 by 1920 pixels per eye, specified refresh rates, a 96-degree horizontal field of view, full-color passthrough, 8GB memory, Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2, a stated general-use battery runtime, Touch Plus controllers, and hand tracking.
