A narrow assistant contract records one intended user, one job, representative inputs, approved evidence, output requirements, non-goals, authority limits, escalation behavior, evaluation cases, accountable owner, and retirement condition.
Persona and tone are secondary. They cannot create subject-matter authority, data permission, factual reliability, tool authorization, or safe deployment.
The contract gate asks whether an owner can observe success and failure on real work. If the answer is no, narrow the job before configuring the assistant.
