Public Goal Review Record

Authorization

Record whether the goal is still active, the current disclosure authorization, date, reviewer, permitted details, private details, and affected third parties.

Original state

Preserve the original words, date, reason, expected outcome, metric, window, resources, assumptions, and stop condition.

Evidence and change

Name the authoritative source for each outcome. Record observed evidence, definition version, uncertainty, changed assumptions, revised belief, confidence, and open question.

Cost

Include time, spend, opportunity cost, stress, privacy, relationship burden, abandoned work, and any undisclosed cost that makes the public record incomplete.

Decision

Choose continue, revise, increase, reduce, pause, stop, or investigate. Name owner, next action, expected signal, review date, warning threshold, and stop condition.

History

Preserve each dated review and later correction. Do not overwrite the original goal to make the story consistent.

An old public aspiration is not a current commitment.
