Readiness Engine Data and Use Research Note

Readiness Engine's current public record is unusually detailed and contains an important use boundary.

The methodology page says the instrument is early in validation, developmental, and not validated for selection. The site FAQ says it should not decide hiring or promotion.

The April 2026 privacy policy describes video, audio, transcripts, assessment responses, scores, developmental classifications, consent, and audit records. It names Google Cloud Platform, Willo, Vercel, and n8n.

The policy says identifiable inputs and outputs are not used for training without separate consent. Standard assessment data is retained for 12 months, subject to longer client contracts or law. Anonymized research data may remain indefinitely.

The policy and terms describe single-model, three-model triangulated, and human-reviewed tiers. Human review is required when output is used as a basis for a consequential decision.

That requirement is a governance control, not a validation result. Human review cannot make an instrument valid for selection without use-specific evidence.

The client is a separate controller or business for its own use. Consent withdrawal does not retract reports already delivered to a client. Buyer-side retention and deletion therefore require separate review.
