Operator boundary
Tokyo's connected network includes different operators. A pass can cover one combination while excluding another. The traveler should evaluate a pass against actual journeys rather than the number of advertised lines.
IC-card availability and mobile setup have changed over time. Current official sources should control. Dalton's easy airport Suica experience remains personal history.
Journey record
Each critical journey should name the origin station and entrance, destination station and exit, operator, line, direction or terminal, transfer station, platform or transfer detail when material, payment method, luggage plan, accessibility route, latest useful departure, live-service source, and backup.
The first airport transfer and final late-night return deserve separate plans. A route that looks simple on a map may cross operators or require a long station transfer.
Historical connection
Dalton experienced Tokyo as highly connected and found airport payment setup easier than in Seoul. He also navigated the city before and after an ankle injury. Public copy should preserve that change in mobility instead of generalizing from it.
