Creative Delegation Checklist

A creative handoff is ready when the owner can identify the purpose, authoritative source, retained judgment, delegated action, positive and negative examples, permission boundary, acceptance evidence, escalation rule, and final approver.

The first assignment should be bounded, reversible, and rehearsed. Shadow work comes before assisted ownership. Assisted ownership comes before independent ownership. Scope expands only after repeated success across the normal variations of the work.

Questions are part of the control system. The collaborator continues when the rule and example clearly cover the case, stops when meaning, consent, privacy, deletion, money, or publication authority is involved, and records recurring ambiguity so the instruction can improve.

Delegation succeeds when the collaborator can complete the stage, preserve the source, show evidence, and stop at the boundary without the creator quietly redoing the task.
