Readiness Engine

Readiness Engine is a developmental leadership assessment company. It uses AI-assisted analysis and human calibration to interpret how leaders describe decisions, tradeoffs, pressure, feedback, and relationships.

The organization previously used the Founder Readiness Institute name. Its current media page preserves that history, while the current site and policies name Readiness Engine, Inc.

Company and product boundary

Readiness Engine is the organization. Readiness Engine is also the name used for its assessment platform and reports. The product includes interview collection, transcription, AI inference, scoring, human review, dashboards, development recommendations, policies, and client handling.

The company and product share a name, but claims about the organization should not be confused with validation of the instrument.

Founding team

The current About page names Logan Yonavjak as co-founder and CEO and Benji Whitehurst as co-founder and CTO.

The company describes Yonavjak's background in impact finance, investing, and entrepreneurship. It describes Whitehurst as a transpersonal psychologist and emotional-intelligence coach.

The same page names Ashby Monk as founding adviser and investor and lists a broader product, coaching, engineering, and advisory team.

What the company says it measures

The current methodology describes four factors behind the read: perspective reach, tension handling, evidence discipline, and the coordination of scale and time.

The main site presents six leadership dimensions: strategic complexity, relational and emotional intelligence, team climate, resilience under fire, purposeful agility, and coachability with identity flexibility.

The company says it can analyze a structured 45-minute interview or consented real-work language such as board updates, meetings, and public interviews. It says evidence excerpts and a rubric anchor the output.

These are product claims. Independent evidence is needed for reliability, validity, subgroup performance, prediction, and use in a particular population.

Current validation position

Readiness Engine says its instrument is in an initial validation phase. The methodology page says it is not validated for selection decisions and that results are intended for developmental purposes.

The site's FAQ says the product should not decide who gets hired or promoted. It presents the output as one instrument alongside skill, context, and human judgment.

This is the controlling public boundary. Current pages should not describe Readiness Engine as proven to predict founder success, promotion performance, succession outcomes, investment returns, or lower failure rates.

AI and human review

The April 2026 privacy policy describes standard, triangulated, and human-reviewed tiers. It says the standard tier uses one model, the triangulated tier uses three, and the human-reviewed tier adds a qualified reviewer.

The terms say the human-reviewed tier is required when output is used as a basis for a consequential decision. They also say outputs are developmental guidance and carry no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or suitability.

Human review is a governance control. It does not substitute for use-specific validation.

Privacy and data

The privacy policy describes video, audio, transcripts, assessment responses, scores, developmental classifications, consent records, audit trails, and client context. It treats some inputs and outputs as sensitive and describes potential biometric processing through video.

The policy names Google Cloud Platform, Willo, Vercel, and n8n. It says identifiable assessment data is not used to train or fine-tune models without separate consent.

The standard retention period for assessment inputs, video, and outputs is 12 months, subject to longer client contracts or law. The policy also distinguishes biometric, account, audit, log, support, backup, and anonymized research retention.

Consent and client responsibility

The Trust and Ethics page commits to informed consent, no pass or fail judgments, no sale of individual data, subject access, governance before onboarding, and analysis of public or consented material.

The privacy policy says the commissioning client is a separate controller or business for its use of results. A participant's deletion from Readiness Engine does not necessarily remove a report already delivered to a client.

Buyers therefore need their own notice, access, retention, deletion, appeal, and decision policy.
