The app and product pages describe an emergency text function while stating that text-to-911 remains under national testing and that the user carries responsibility. SPACE's January 2024 terms say text 911 and panic PIN features are not monitored.

The Space Safe has an FCC authorization record for its wireless equipment. FCC authorization does not establish burglary resistance, fire resistance, firearm-storage compliance, or total cybersecurity.
